When God’s call within family’s bond
awakens soul’s bleeding, there is knowing:
He felt this pain when His Son prayed:
‘Let this pass’, and could not intervene.
Born from tender’s love we know
He had gone before with promise
to prepare a mansion in the City of God
for those at heart so special for Him.
Away from earthly home our mansion
will stand within a city of jasper walls
and gates of pearl that surround streets
of love, reflecting pure clear gold.
Loneliness there never will be,
for God’s light radiates with love
through Jesus’ heart a peace
for each of us within these City walls.
There is a river of life’s water
with crystal sparkle stream, and from
the throne of God and Lamb it flows
right down to those below.
In this city God and Jesus lives
not hidden from our face; what joy
this gives in knowing that we their
nearness have and also tender loving care.
On our foreheads His name will be -
His mark to wear and know that we
to Him belong, and as reward He'll
lift us up as kings to reign with Him.
Now this is a place to be, the best
from God for you and me, and what’s more,
He only shares this City of love
with those whom He so lovingly called.

What a excellent write and visuals from Revelations 21. I feel so honored and I can't wait to share this with my family. I feel so blessed as he is free and happy with Jesus, I guess in selfishness I weep. He is truly missed. God is my comfort and strength, that would be the only way to make it!!! The title City of Love is perfect and the the first line When God calls within a familys bond and than the last line Hw only shares this City of love with those whom He so lovingly called. timeless echoes of our fathers and Father ... and I feel contented in the knowing that He Himself though his Holy Ghost breathes these words into our being.
