Creation

Missing image
Wounded eyes clinging to faith
that the world is not the predator paradise
seen each day in acceptance's asphalt wasteland.

Beneath the stares of curiosity
which minds of indifference
have no time to interpret,
resides an intuitive sphere of insight
waiting for the right heart to reach out
and take it from where it is suppressed.

How often do the orbs of pure imagination
lie dormant
when they only end up fractured
if shared with hateful hands?

Never knowing such are a gift
from heaven's jeweler
meant to bring to this world
a renewed joy
over the mystery
and breath of inventive wind
that is the beauty of creation.
