Look around, kid,
take a look, what do you see?
Snowflakes, plains and castles,
what do you see in me?
So tell me, kid,
'cause I really have to know,
when those snowflakes melt away,
where do you think they go?
I wonder, kid,
does music have a taste,
does it dance, does it writhe
to the people in their haste?
High above, kid,
with the ever present fear
of falling from this basket,
so high, so high up here?
No, please no, kid,
You simply can't be afraid.
Look at all the beauty,
the great things God has made.
Above clouds, kid,
and the mountains down below
Please tell me, yes please tell me,
'cause I really have to know.
Kings and queens, kid;
how long do you think they'll last?
Do you think they'll live forever,
or will they die along with the past?
It's so great, kid,
look at all the wide open space,
how we all confine ourselves,
this poor, poor human race.
The answer, kid?
Whisper it in my ear,
'cause us people down below--
we gotta fix it here.
As for me, kid?
I'll just keep walking on,
from time to time and place to place,
now and then will merge,
in this wide, wide open space.

From teh background and the poems, it seems to me like you're asking this child about what they dream. I think the poem is great, but i think you should change the title. But, that's just my opinion, Love

Wow Daniel, for whimsical wanderings of a mind, this is a great piece! I really felt like you were talking to me. Know this, I'm in that hotair ballon with you looking down on this sad and depressing world. We HAVE to take control. One day our generation is gonna rule the population, so we have to take control NOW before its too late.
