Buried
beneath tons of water
pressure pounds as the Chesapeake Bay
presses in, down, around me
surrounding the heavy hours
traveling to be with you, to
see you, to touch you before
the ritual of dying
hangs our life on purple velvet's
silent
final curtain...

OHHHHh...I really like this one!
the ritual of dying
hangs our life on purple velvet's
silent
final curtain...
Write on and on!
*PEACE ON EARTH*

Thank you darlin' for stopping by, oh my, what catastrophic
conglomeration of claustrophobic nonsense.
Blessings of peace, love,
light

Hey Liquid ~ I was originally from Maryland myself... I am very familar with the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, to my understanding still the longest in the world. I've drove through that tunnel thinkin' the same thing... eerie type feel it gives you... Sad write.... I can see how it makes you feel that way...
Congrats for making it to round 2 ~ good luck to you!
