Slothy movement rounding
the final corner to given
destiny; what will the
truth behold, what
sight will I encounter?
Questions fly through
cerebral connections pertaining
to the visions I will endure.
Possibly paradise where
the waters sparkle crystal clear
and the emeralds adorn grassy plains.
The birds will chirp welcoming
harmonies and doves dance intricate
patterns in the sky.
Or, will putrid smells and sights
permeate the atmosphere when
I behold the end of this road?
Will garbage be strewn across
once sparkling fields of flowers?
The answers I do not know, but
I prefer the former; a paradise
to spend eternity.
The end is inching nearer and
my anxiety reaches climax.
Then I see it, the sanctuary
I hoped for; a forever that
I can look forward to.
