The things that you do just to write a poem....lol.....i love how you can find poetry in every instant in life; from the smallest little thing to bears ripping into trash! You are a true poet in every sense of the word. We all need to try and mimic the way that you are living in the moment and experiencing every sensation and then try putting them to words. You are a wonderful person and Im glad i get to have a taste of your world through your poetry.

Good pic' and tanka, Don! I assume you used a telephoto lens when you shot this picture (otherwise, you were TOO CLOSE!) lol
According to bear trainers, humans are responsible for bears tearing into garbage, etc. because humans think they're doing them a favor when they feed them (but what they're doing is making the bears depend on them for food).
They are cute! I would have been snapping pictures, too!

. these little ones were quite the terrors.... I watched them for most the day. Their mom was floating around so I had to be careful..... ... she is really quick .......and I wanted to go home in "tact" if you know what I mean!
