The
crisp clear
day
lingers,
as leaves fall.
Calling
the
anxious
snowflakes of
the northern wind.
Chills tingling
my spine,
as
autumn
and winter
embrace
in
nature's
waltz.

Oh such a dance..of leves, of swirling snow...of the two...beautifully done. I love the images that dance here.

I hear you~ we just had some snow the other day, and it is a crisp waltz isn't it. Leaves and snowflakes mingling. I liked this one alot.

Muddy . . . the Autumn has stuck rather quickly up here on the West Coast of Canada and reading this piece reminded me that it would be better if I stayed indoors today . . . this poem made me shiver.
