Thank you Karen. Rain is the Ying, sun the Yang.

Singing in the rain
A lovely rainy day haiku, singing to the beat of the rain and wippers is fun. Thank you so much!

Yours was a "Joy" to read and hope you will forgive my next intrusion as I will offer some constructive criticism.
If you change the word "evaporate" to "disappear" then the syllable count will go from eight to seven.
Good luck in the Rain Haiku Contest!

You're right
Thank you for your comment. It's so easy to overlook proper syllable count. I'll edit it.

i love walking out in the rain as well as the scent of a gentle new falling rain. well done and many blessings always xxx

Ah, I used to love to walk in the rain back in my youth. It felt so spiritually cleansing...well maybe I just thought it was fun, lol.
Too often we see rain as depressing, when we should see it as a re-birth of sports.
