    This is such a familiar image in the rainy season - all the shops lined with bright raincoats.Nicely done as usual.

    I'm new at haikus myself, as I found the courage to write two of them and enter this contest. I think you're on the right track. If you use my following suggestion it will meet the requirements of a haiku. Or perhaps you can tweak your write another way. Here it goes:

    raincoats by raincoats
    every shopfront brings a flood
    end of summer sales
