The tree made not a sound
though the wind blew
ghosts haunted the very grounds
lethargy nausea in form ascended
vines covering trunk and limb.
ya bats dung spiders black
mumbles a little fat being
in a witches hat
Lil this Lil that
green slimy stew spewing out
of an old pot so nasty black
crawling rats dangling heads
voices heard of the long thought dead.
Mommy kept turning the channels
everything was too scary
Anyway
Cherish and Avia were hiding with Nana
under the pooh blanket fast asleep

Painted the mood
captured the moments
keep it in the treasure chest -
aah halloween...so many realities at once. No one knows what happens in hidden coves at midnight ^^. Very descriptive!

This brings back memories
Sometimes the little ones would be frightened even though they really knew who was under the costume. Very descriptive. I love it.
