Turn Of The Key

Missing image
Outside this door
two eternities wait...

one eternity offers temporary joy, peace, love
many roads lead to her door
she entices her victims into the fire of wickedness
while she wipes her lips with innocence
many she has won and conquered
many perish in her hands even now

the other eternity offers love unconditional,
everlasting
joy unspeakable, peace beyond understanding
only one road leads to this Door
only one Key opens it

Go ahead, it's your decision....

Will you turn the Key?

    Everything is choice.

There are those that think they are the only ones with choice. But God lets us have those choice and you have written a poem that explains we can make them.

I see many ways in which one could decipher here depending on what one's point of view is. I could see this relating to a choice made in follow the path of righteousness, or religion or following the way of the world and all it's evils. On the other hand, I also see this as one being faced with choices, choices that slap us in the face every time we awaken to a new day. You did a great job here. Good luck in your contest.

Oh. This is a pretty interesting poem that you have going on here. I thought the picture was intriguing and I could see why it would inspire you. It got me thinking too. I liked how you made it about love and choices. I agree that there are a lot of roads a person can choose to go down and you have to be careful of what you choose. I think that you've done a good job of expressing that.
