Before the sun hatched the horizon
October sailed through my window
on the last stream of summer’s breeze.
Rock me, October, in your cradle of color;
deliver me into autumn dreams.
Golden October gathers bouquets
of bronze mums and butterscotch daisies.
Crisp Libran caress creates goose flesh
causing me to nestle closer
to the warmth by my side.
Fingers fan through strands
of harvest wheat.
The universe exists
in the ring of his embrace;
all my desires are a pulse away.
faithful October flows through me;
aborning contentment breathed deeply.
Please tell me what you think
