There is an angel on my ceiling
watching over me
she gives me hope
and silent love
she was painted gracefully
I call her my guardian
my guardian on high
her wings of white eternal
are surrounded by blue sky
when I shall lay upon my bed
and whenever I am sad
I look at her
and she looks at me
she is surreal
such loving eyes
I swear that she is real
my mother gave me this beautiful gift
one day when I said to her
"please paint me an angel Mommy
and one that can be heard"
with the stroke of her brush
and the love in her hands
she created my wanting
upon guilded wood ceiling
engraved with love for me
this angel of beauty forever engraved
always watching over me
she brings forth my inspiration
brings out the best in me
I do not ever wish to move
unless she comes with me
yet as I grow I must move on
and someday I hope to share these wings
with another child
whom will slumber in peace
in this house
with my angel above.

i love to spend time in my bedroom with the angel looking over me. it gives me great inspiration.

A very sweet poem and it rhymed so well which can be hard to do when trying to say something so particular.
