She is the moon with all its splendour
As such, her light shines forever
Through the darkest veils of night
Rain catches her fairest eye.
She sees all; she is the moon
From Chadna's blessings, kiss of Luna,
Never does she miss a chance
To write of what is in her glance.
Pen across the shining stars
Her words of beauty spread afar-
Constellations her creations
Centre of man's exaltations
Lady moon, fairest she be
Shining across the night's dark scene.
