She said the every fault and failure
Every wrong turn she ever took
Each temptation that she sought and found
Too easily upon this crumbling earth
All sat at my feet
It was my accomplishment
At first anger ruled my nerves
Like a cage mountain lion
Who watched her cub killed
I was speechless but outraged
My blood boiled like steaming water
Windows were shattered by my skull
Scars from my fist were scattered
Throughout the walls entrapping me
The blood stained the pure white room
It ran from my face to my pure white t-shirt
I tasted the blood that was drying on my face
As I threw her picture from the wall
And scraped the shelves clean of it's memories
The beast calmed at the sight of broken shards
A statue of my Savior
Who sat shattered and spread across the floor
It was the calming rain
That arrived after the thunder
Even in a moment of rage
He turned the blood to tears
That washed my face
And the lion was calmed and let out of the cage
But the tears never did cease their streaming

You sound like a very angry person. Whether justifiable or not, I cannot say, but you're outrage shows me that something really bothered you and hit you hard. I know how anger can take over you. I let my anger [well let isn't quite the word, but this is what happens] builds up and then it just explodes, normally with some very unpleasant negative outcomes [punches, screaming, crying and screetching, kicking etc].

"As I threw her picture from the wall

i like this bit best, can really picture it. xx -
That was Fantastic
It's sad yet raw emotion
I like it
I like the part were you compared his rage
to the mountain lion.Fav!
Good job And good luck! -
That emotional breaking point is a palce of epiphany, to be sure.... sometimes, in working with troubled kids, we needed them to weep in order to work with them...sometimes that meant allowing their anger to build and buld until it crested in waves of tears... it is there the heart is raw and real and ready. Great writing and important...

Rage- in my opinion is a beatufiul emotion. I love nothing more than to be enraged at somthing. Its expressive.
This is a well penned peice. The imagery was great.
