I wish I understood
the words you spoke
if only I understood
the poems you wrote

I almost wish i remembered
the reasons why we laughed
but I need to stop crying
because those times are now in the past

I'm trying not to need you
but some things can't be done
I know that my misery was your mission

Forever I'll be the adolescent
without a lesson ever learned
but maybe one day
my love will be earned

    I felt it

    This was really beautiful.I felt your sorrow,I know what it's like when you need to get over something but you just can't,it seems impossible.but I think in time you'll feel better.Good write!keep it up.
