It is well with me, O Lord

It is well with me,O Lord
that you do not shelter me
for no-one is made better
without adversity

It is fine with me, My God
that I wear no golden beads
you may not give me all I want
but you've always met my needs

It is good with me, Almighty
that You ask of me to give
for without the gifts of strangers
neither would I live

I accept that I will never know
my place in Your mighty plan
It is enough that you use me
in any way you can

I've tried to do things my own way
and fell flat, this confess I must
So I put myself in Your care
because in You I trust.

it is well with me, O lord
though the weight of this world makes me groan
to carry this burden throughout my life
for I know I don't bear it alone

Your spirituality shines brightly throughout this poem. It is well designed with a good rhythm and rhyme in most places. I sense you have looked hard at how God takes a role within our lives and gives us food for thought on the days when we pay attention. Thank you for your entry.
