You’ve been hanging around trying to ring my bell.
That’s all you want to do as far as I can tell.
I ask you if you want to dance
You say you can’t take the chance.
Well, if you won’t rock with me, baby,
Roll on.
You look like you could have what I need.
No, no, baby. I surely don’t need to breed.
Right now I don’t need no more
than to be twirled around the dance floor.
So if you won’t rock with me, baby,
Roll on.
I sure aint sitting on anybody’s shelf.
But I really don’t like to dance all by myself.
If you can boogie, come on, let’s go
Show me what you got to show.
But if you wont rock with me, baby,
Roll on.
Hey, if you don’t want to rock with me, baby,
Roll on.

Thank you for entering ~
Nice rhyme & flow, easily fits as lyrics. I enjoyed the read.

LOL This is great...really gave me a smile.
I think you've got something very catchy here and it would indeed make a good song. My only concern is that it would be a very short song, unless there was a lot of extended "fill in" music to go with it. I'd love to see a further developed chorus to really round this out.
Nice job, and a unique entry for the theme of the contest.
Good luck and best wishes,

“Get on up or get on out and Kiss This Thing Goodbye.” That sums it up, doesn’t it? This is a song, isn’t it? I can pretty much feel the melody. Good work.
