We'll stay here for eternal
Sun rises, Sun sets
And all the while we remain.
Lay with me;
This world our trove to behold.
For flame can't reach us here,
A world at rest 'neath heavy dew.
This is our place;
Special to none but our own.
You leave not past the roots
A sheild from the darkness; Alone.
Moonlight exudes your charm,
As I wait.
I'll always wait.
Illicit seraphim from high
Arms that once guard my eye.
This folliage aegis is not my true cover;
I rest here to be closer to you
To be seated amongst your warmth.
For while you stare from high
I rest above from below.

Beautiful imagery and deeply sad, this poem is beautiful because it is touching and sad because of the way it gives us that touch. Excellent write. Write on, poet. (and I LOVE Evanescence as well)

Wow
I feel... well after reading carefully... I feel there is a story behind this:
You've passed away and where you are buried the lover is looking down on you and you are saying how you will wait forever there in that special place. Also your saying goodbye and letting them know you will always be there waiting to be togther once more.
Well done love the meotion and description in this poem.
Keep writing!
