I was born with it.
With the shape of gentle budding petals...
baby-flower...
waiting for a year to blossom
slowly and proudly discovering myself.
I am a woman.
Put your palm to my chest,
hear the sound of eons
flowing inside me, waiting for you.
Listen.
Talk with the light of my eyes,
touch the pride of my neck and shoulder
tied with the shadows and whiteness of a gentle valley
and with the ribbons of your wishes.
Drink the life from my lips,
feel the shivers aroused by the breeze of your breath
while goose bumps shamelessly play amongst my freckles,
like the breath of skies - free, chasing stars,
giving them to live a life of their own.
My breast’s nipple feeds you honey,
the warm bosom's valley
is your place of restful sleep
before you explore the arch and curves of spine
sliding down the eager hips,
to feel and taste there where the soft silk of my thighs
mingles with the scent of springtime and ripe fruit,
and the taste of blackberry wine
is calling you to open my orchard,
to be the only God to give me your gift of love and life,
who will wake me up in a lilac's morning
to drink with me, body and soul united,
from the Holy Grail
at the altar of our love.
Author notes
Prompt: Paradise found
Woman is not only made of shapes. Each woman has her own unique inner beauty, sometimes waiting the whole life to be discovered.
But...
Woman is not only a lover, companion, wife or mother.
She could be strong and weak, sometimes she need a protection, many times she is offering it.

There is such a lovely feel of the Infinite to this poem, Sonja. Love evokes that feeling in us all, at one point or another. A beautiful, tender, loving piece, my Friend. Thank you for entering my contest with such fire overflowing within your veins. Good luck, Sweetie.

This is beautiful... paradise found and tied with all the ribbons of touch, love, kisses and wishes. I so love this poem and where you took the contest theme. You so often pull the sighs from my depths with your poetry... and on reading love like this I can only sigh.... beautiful.
