the chant of doves
floating graciously over head
is quickly disrupted by the overwhelming crows
this foul smell
dangerously intoxicating,
devours the cake I'd received for my birthday
a silent murmur
soft and almost unheard
is tainted with feeble lies and complete hypocrisy
those events occur but
tomorrow is bliss, I'm aware
for all the stars were promised to me, by you
Author notes
You have to have a darkness...for the dawn to come.
although I'm living a difficult period right now, I'm going to wait for my prince to wisp me away.
