Things I have I share with grace,
Hoping some way a bit of pain to erase,
These things I do,
All over the place.
Some think I am crazy,
Many think it a waste,
They just do not see,
That look on their face.
The thing I am mostly trying to remove,
Is a sense a not being the person they choose.
The person they go to when they feel sad,
Or the one needed when they need to be glad.
So I end this tumult within me now,
With hopes these words have somehow,
Brought a smile to a face or a lift to a brow.
Does this cover the emotive content well enough?

Well Rich, many "poets" feel that they are responsible for others feelings - expections. We are NOT! We are only responsible for ourselves. Religion is the cause of much guilt seeding and each has to evaluate for themselves the sanity of beliefs (old and new) thrust at them from usually somewhere in the past. Just because you are not what others desire, don't accept the guilt others attempt to put on you! Poetry is also mostly a religious thing in which "POETS" can affect change. Or maybe one has to let those external thoughts\feelings careen off an outer unemotional shell.

To all those I never 'connected with'.
Celticmoon. Forgive my state at this moment. I am doing the best I can and I am just trying to capture what came to mind from the intro to the contest. I saw all that stuff and it could be you mean which one of those people it is for, if so, pull this please. Rich.

I did in fact inquire as to whom it was for meaning which of those poets posted was this piece penned for. My apologies to you, though this was a lovely piece you have offered.
