splatter
slippery, slimy
gooey and delightful,
somehow.

beetle juice.

cries
whimpers, sighs
fleeing and more,
intoxicating.

beetle juice.

thirst
desire, quench
sip and stirring,
parched.

addiction,
infatuation, admiration
denial is futile,
resistance.

those things,
and much more,
darling.

Author notes

I used: 'pick a random movie, and use the movie title multiple times in the poem.' -- the title being obvious.

and beetlejuice is such a dark and morbid movie, I love it.

    I remember seeing that movie years ago..weird...lol. You've done an excellent job here, the repetition works really well. Some cool visuals. Superbly penned

    I really liked this poem. I loved that movie so much. I have seen it more than 50 times. I like these lines a lot:

    addiction,
    infatuation, admiration
    denial is futile,
    resistance.

    beetle juice.
