On a Tuesday I'll make it through,
Another dragging day of school.
Because if anything were ever true,
I get through Tuesday just to be with you.
You may not realize what Tuesdays mean to me,
and I can't do much more than flat out guarantee:
that some Tuesdays will go by without you,
and on those days, I'll try to make do.
But without you there....
Well, it's harder to imagine the couch without its solitaire.
Author notes
The first in a collection of what I'm calling "Thought Pieces" where I convey one thought in a very small poem to make the impact a bit more lasting than a longer piece.
