I cuddle him in my untrained arms
freshly arisen from the wombs embrace
magi-like...his warm glow shimmers
from his great Ceasarean entrance
attendants scramble round to cleanse him
with humble reverence as he's swaddled and
gently crowned with soft knit blues
then delivered to his kingdom
a world that I'll lay at his feet
his bright eyes gaze on me...discovering
a new umbilical...one half of
ties that bind...he'll call me Dad
as I sustain him through the years
my tiny prince...a royal gift...
a blessing from the king above.

Tender expression of the strongest emotion of all. Great job Dad. I hope you print this out and put a copy in his baby book. Baby and Mom both will want to keep this close.

Very Beautiful Good Luck In My Contest. Great flow of words

You have done yourself justice with this piece. I myself had a C-section and it was not the most joyful experience. If things could go wrong it did, nice to read something with such a joyful experience. Good write and good luck in the contest.
