Missing image
Perched on a pedestal
of omnipotence
under mantles of decay
influence is coerced.

Innocent victims
of artless childhood
surrender in faith
to perversions hands.

Sanity destroyed
under piety's cloak
as purveyors of evil
threaten with cowardly force.

Mice scurry
into holes of obscurity
lurking in sinister corners
until caught in traps
of reality's transparency.

Future forever
a living hell
life force sucked dry
in futile crusades
to comprehend
a dwelling of intact.

    I love this, it fits so well with the picture. Unbelievably sad yet the words speak more volumes than such, say we note, a humourous picture.

    You penned more than opinions, but reality and in that course gave them a poetic tone that really influences the way we interpret them.

    Very talented!!

    So true and so sad there are many victims still keeping silent. Sad as well to think that the one who were honnest have now to deal with an aura of suspiscion instead of sanctity. This was so well written and thoughts provoking. Well done.

    I don't often copy and paste, however these lines spoke so loud and clear and with so much truth [personal]. Purveyors of evil indeed Great job my friend. It needs to be spoken about and just punishment is due [unfortunately usually only a change of venue is the punishment]
