"Blank verse is iambic pentameter"
No rhyme! Just try it, counting syllables.
Shakespeare, he used it, time on time, read him.
Read his works, read the Tempest, his last play!
But even today, it's still relevant

I'm sure I saw this entry as first in and then it wasn't here, so I'm glad it's back for others to enjoy too. - or am I just going crazy? :) Who knows what Hemingway ws thinking when he wrote his version but I have enjoyed reading yours. Von

Yes it was there, but I started counting syllables and found a couple of the lines were lacking. So I deleted and had another try. I think the syllable count is now OK.
