speaks softly your name

the lullaby of your heart

smells of your skin
sweet as lilac, soft as jasmine
taking me one step closer

of all the time   in between
I dream of your kiss
resting gently on the edge of my lips

 




 

Author notes

My boyfriend kissed his fingertips yesterday, then placed them on my leftmost breast. He told me he kissed my heart, but I already knew by the wonderful glow i felt inside.
