Romeo and Juliet

Dragonfly, dragonfly, my friend of foe and flutter,

wings so pretty and soft, smooth as natures' butter.

 

Quickly carry me away, let's find our new home,

I love this new shiny pond, no more need to wisp or roam.

 

Our children will be safe here, no time to fret or worry,

watching all the bees buzz, the catfish in such a big hurry.

 

Your face reflects off ripples, wiggling images oh so much fun,

let's find some shade my love, out of this hot blazing sun!

I am not a Poet who can pen a rhyme,

so forgive me for taking up your time ~
