I am a child.
I am naughty every once in a while
But don’t be mad, just look at my smile.
When I’m sad
And the rain falls down
You give me a hug and I lose my frown.
I am a teenager.
I have my moments,
But from them I grow.
When I get mad
And scream at you
You understand and guide me through.
I am an adult.
You are my child.
We’ve have our memories
And together we’ve cried.
Over the years you’ve grown and grown
And maybe one day you’ll have kids
Of your own.
I am a grand parent
And wiser you see.
I have grandchildren.
Not one, but three.
I am slowly getting older,
But remember my child you are free.
I will love you forever and I know you love me.
