I am strong and honorable

I protect those that are weak

My warrior heart never rests

    Forgive this intrusion

Please forgive this intrusion. I read your work and was moved and with this I felt I had to let you know of a great brother of yours who lies buried in my home town in England since 1885 and to whom I dedicated this work.

    Distant Lands of Ska-run-yete

    Feathered clouds protest and sigh
as freedoms wind torched the sky
    storms roll and plunder
    bruise, ravage and thunder,
    scorching trails across the land
    vaulting mountains tall and grand
    its strength and power alarming
    captivating, disarming.

If I could be that free he mused
his gaze caressed the ocean blue
to free myself from where I stand
arise my heart to foreign lands
    without fear I would ride
cocooned in clouds to the other side
    as vapor I sigh

A breeze enthused his timbered hair
    it’s breath enticing sober thoughts
    of visions and distant ports
his restless heart in rhythm beat
as seasons change beneath his feet
compelled his spirit chimed for change
to wander wide to roam and range
knurled and wrought his hands he held
to the sky he praised and forward felled
on knee’s to pray for guidance bring
to the maker of dreams he did sing
    his words and songs prevailed
his chants ensnared the wind to sail
    where he would follow
    each day and tomorrow
yet risk to lose but yet would gain
he seized his chance to free his chains
    a yearning long endured
now laid upon the ground secured
for all to see and witness there
it fell without a sound or care
    free to roam his eyes
    looked to his home
    then on to wonder
    beyond the land and thunder
    across the waters wide
    embracing the other side
    and there he could perceive
    all he ever dreamed
and though his way was clear yet fraught
No borders claimed his berried mind
as the torch of freedom blazed inside
this man, a tower of pride
unleashed and loosed to the world outside
came to teach us all and one
healed and lay a hand upon
    all whose days dwindled on?
he went to places none had gone
and dared to touch the human side
of you of me and our selfish pride
for what he touched was healed
his smiles and warmth we did feel
his love was honest and shone
he gave this free and moved along

    Oceans rumbled deep and wide
did not forbid, but chased his mind
to heal those folk on every side
    his payment, his pride
    for the sick he cried,
he stroked and felt them deep inside
    healed and with every stride
sought them all and did with prayer
lay his hands upon them there
    joy and hope he gave
    suspending journeys to the grave

Moses gave to all who came
    regardless, he gave without refrain
all he had he did deliver
to the good and the bad he was their giver
to the wild the mad, the ungrateful the sad
    he gave and is remembered
    and so he will remain
a man from whence he came
    his remedies, salves and cures
    and a faith endured

I wish his words I could recall
Or wake him from his lonely hall
    Disturb his fated endless sleep
    beneath the scattered woodland fair
his tomb a place to linger where
I may speak or lay my feather
    a symbol to man
    who shall live for ever
in the hearts of those he did deliver
    Moses Carpenter

Excellently and strongly written as a True Warrior should, no hesitation and plenty of conviction. My AP wife and love has mentioned you to me on several different occasions, I thought I would come and take a look at one who pledges to protect her. Unlike most who have left comments here, I have no Indian name nor am I any part Indian as far as I know. I am a Man with strong convictions myself, against drugs, alcohol, abuse of any kind towards women, men, children, as well as animals. Strong is my belief in my God, and I strive to do His will in my life and to help others with my experience, strength and hope...Scott

    Honour and Justice

Words spoken like a warrior indeed. for there is no greater honour than to stand strong in the belief that you are a protector of the poeple, of the weak and the old. To understand that to know no defeat but with the giving of your own life, will be justice enough for the soul of he who speaks these words comfort enough to live life with pride and courage abound.

The years of knowledge gained and now heald high in strength within your grasp is a tool that only few can posess, aided by the commitment of power within the body of your shield, enhanced by the skin of your own shell. Both hardened to a degree of passion only a true warrior can feel and control.

Your pledge of going without rest until complete justice has been recieved through healing not only the poeple but the land on which you stand is a satnce I will proudly stand beside you in. For I have a reason fully to re state your words with a passion stronger and committed to the same end.

    Regards

    and with honour

So much in a few words!

This I understand. A determination and feeling of mission to use the gifts you have on behalf of others. To make a difference.
The determination not to be swayed nor to rest until all needful has been accomplished. A mission or duty to use those abilities with which you have been endowed to protect and to heal. There are many here who have awaited and will welcome your arrival.
I will return here often to learn of the spirit of a warrior. Jadon
