Aftermath

Missing image
Destination within this remnant place
darkness becomes my saviour
the pain where once pulsed a heart
pierced, now essence has dispersed.

With ebony wings I come to this frozen place
amongst the living dead
where sinister shadows carve out my spirit
now a carcass of deception.

Pure pink petals merely a distraction
while I plan my vengeance
in snakelike slither I will guile
to slash your lifeblood force.

Now an angel of damnable wickedness
forever to haunt your soul
your downfall I will not regret
as I tear you limb from limb.

Wow, Gaylene... You're the FIRST person who has completely followed my instructions! GO YOU!

As for the poem, let me just say... wow! I've read your writes before, and this one is SO unlike you! It's so dark and brilliant, and a step outside of your usual style. I think I like this darker side of you, my dear! You totally did that picture justice... I think Azenath would be very proud of you as well! I'm glad you kept your screen name in the notes, because this one has an excellent chance of proceeding to the next round! Thank you, and good luck to you
