Walkin down the road

Thoughts runnin thru my mind

Lord I got a heavy load

Need some place to unwind



Walkin along not knowin what to do

I look to the sky

All these thoughts are only of you

All the while I wonder why



The road I walk is very long

These thoughts all running crazy

I ask the Lord to make me strong

As my future seems quite hazy



Walkin down the road

Not knowing what to do

Looking for a place to unload

I was never like this till I met you



Faster I go now, running at top speed

Tears are burning in my eyes

I can hear someone say "Be careful take heed"

I feel myself floating now to the skies



No longer do I see the road

No more battles they've all been fought

No more do I bear my heavy load

My mind is all clear of thought



No longer do I need you

As my soul has been set free
