In the Wind

~*~

Smiles,
Painted Faces,
Lingering glances,
Warm embraces,
Petals flutter,
Stems shiver—
Leafy fingers stutter.

Kisses,
Lovely reaction,
Wandering eye—
Soft retraction.
By and by
The wind and cloud—
A slight sigh.

White satin,
Drapes aroun’,
Covering red,
Clothing her crown.
Butterfly wrinkles
Drifting in the breeze—
Perfumed sprinkles.

Lovely love
Between two things.
Lovely love
Bonded by rings.

Flowers and peoples,
Awaiting their day.
Roses and humans,
Dancing in sway.

Good work, I really enjoyed this piece, it is very lovely.
    My favorite stanza is:

    "Flowers and peoples,
    Awaiting their day.
    Roses and humans,
    Dancing in sway."
It is the one that stands out to me the most, I don't know why, but I love it.
Overall this was a really great poem. The rhyme isn't forced (ahem, so refreshing!) and it flows wonderfully.
    Thank you for sharing this.
