Viewed upon from temple's gate
gods of yesteryear observe
as lover's gather 'neath their gaze
in resplendent aura of mystery.
Beneath this fine cloak of charm
afficionado pledges his desires,
custom commands coins cast
into waters of enchantment.
Should gods be amused tradition will endure
meeting once more under gaze of eternity.
