Revolution

Suicide, homicide, and genocide all justified
by greediness, deceit, and hatred by the rectified
We close our eyes to the demise of all those who've been victimized
as long as we have homes and good and feel like we are dignified

Well I refuse to follow blind and leave minorities behind
indulging in my selfishness when I could give my piece of mind
This world is not a garbage can to dispose of the weaker man
and I refuse to hand out guns when I can lend a helping hand.

Solutions to our worlds pollution is not a war but revolution
Don't drop bombs drop flowers on the leaders of our institution
Embrace the love within you and consider it an evolution
Become the free democracy like stated in the constitution

We create the hate when we could generate a better place
Free from condemnation based on gender, preference, and race
We don't take the time to contemplate the person who's behind each face
but try to look the same because conformity is all that's safe

Gay marriage is "immoral" and abortion is unfair
but when we kill civilians watch how no one cares
Desensitized to everything we watch with a dead stare
as they tie a guy about to die to the electric chair

Excuse the man who slit his wrists it's just another suicide
and the girl who was just raped and killed is simply one more homicide
Thank the lord for Darfur this world needed a new genocide
as long as there's the comfort of your home for you to run and hide
