Although I have seen many contests and poems with this form, I wouldn't have any idea how to write one properly - lol.
I think you've done a pretty good job with this one actually. I'm not sure I really 'see' the story you're telling in these three lines. It rather looks like a moment - or is that supposed to be that way?

These shorter forms -- haiku, senryu and pixiku are very hard to do in contests like these, since they don't allow for a lot of room
