The Statues Await

We're waiting for all hallows eve,
and the magic of its night.
When we can run free,
and give you a fright.

One night each year.
We hold it so dear.

So for it prepare
You may watch if you dare.

    Thanks for your entry

Cute little poem. Very nicely done, good flow and structure. I like your idea of Halloween night.

    Happy Halloween

Hmm..Is it just me or have I read this piece before? Anywho, I think the rhyme ruined it. It was forced and I hate forced rhyme. I think you would have done better with free verse instead. But nice effort! Good job and good luck in the contest! Kudos.
