Silver - Santo And Colleen
Santo wooed Colleen, away from the Church. In her dreamy world, he had become her new way of life. The constant yearn for both, pulled still at her heart. She could truly love only one, the most in the end. Deciding to leave the Church, she joined Santo's side. A brother's love had saw the truth, and bestowed upon her much grief. Poor Collen was devastated, running to the Convent for relief. To become a Nun was in her heart, the truest dream of all. Santo came on the day, she was to become God's wife. Distressing her, she could not bear it, ending her life jumping off a cliff, Uniting with her true love in Heaven. http://allpoetry.com/poem/3530412
