Stifled Friday Nights

She’ll sit this one out
While you regain composure
Than pounce like a lioness
Into your favours

Beverages swirl the room
Tremors below feet
The clink of glasses
As light catches them

Bending to her song
Like the puppeted wretch
Of to much drink
Slurping honey vows

Never gave too much away
But surely do now
Those moves could fashion
Wonder-kind from all corners

But surely some nooks and crannies
Have tears in them
But she dances with you
In that glass reflected light.

Criticisms wanted, for this and my earlier poem if you'd be so kind. Thank you.
