Sometimes in my thoughts I ponder
Investing hours passing me by
Consumed I pace back and forth
Hidden by confusion and lies
Fighting and arguments
So I look back to where we are
A hundred miles apart
Emotions running sour here
Emotions running everywhere
I can only look back now:
Searching for someone to love
I saw you standing there
Found you later in my room
Woke up next to you and I left
Same place different night
The same love a different girl
Always seeking attention and this love
Never seeming to find that will last
Now I have to say to you all
When my life is at this pause
I just want to know: Where are we?
You never spoke to me after that night
All I give you is just one night
And I want to give you the world
No chance to give you any more
And you just get out of my bed
I call your phone
Straight to message
Nothing to say to me
When last night you had everything to say
When you come to my bed
You tell me all sorts of things
Tell me you love me
You never want me to leave
Promises were made
Never to leave you
And you never to leave me
But still you leave
Where are we?
I do not know
We never spoke again

It's like you're speaking to one particular person but you had to bring the entire world in on the conversation when perhaps that wasn't so prudent, or necessary. I feel that part should be taken out, it seemed like an addage, of sorts.
Other than that: a nice poem that you have written here.
