Going blind

I never thought it would happen
that it would lead to anything serious
that i would progress into more
that it would hurt me.

I never thought it would be anymore
than shaking here
and passing out there
and just being sick forever

but they say today im going blind
that i'll never see again
and it'll take only a matter of time.

They say i can stop it if i get surgery
but most who do will die
and i would much rather take the chance
of never seeing again,
than never being again.

They say i have two years at most
and after that im done
and that i should just enjoy it now
while i can still have fun.

I want to wake up from this nightmare
it cant be real
it cant.
it wont.
i'll wake up.
I'll be fine.

but the doctors say im going blind.
