I hate you
I cannot stand you
Your presence tarnishes existence
Your insincere actions polluting the air
Making it hard to breathe
And yet I crave it
I seek to breathe this polluted air without realising it
For I cannot hold my breath indefinitely
You speak, I listen
Your words tumble forth
An unceasingly beautiful river of words
Charming and sickeningly sweet
I hate you, but I hate myself more
For despite knowing your conniving ways
I am drawn to you
I accept your dangerous words, knowing their intentions
And alas, as I foretold
These poisoned words have hit their mark
My heart doth wilt
Tears fall unbidden down my cheeks
I fall to my knees
And I am yours.
How can I make this better?

Wow. Full of strong emotion, very powerful. Imagery and metaphor is great, I like the use of the opposites in "charming and sickeningly sweet," it really helps to paint your word picture. The ending just really brings it home. Excellent write.
