**true friends

friendship is one of those things people take for granted
they never take the time to acknowledge their true friends
they figure they always have tomorrow
dont think like that because true friends are hard to find and tomorrows not promised
so take the time to call a friend
tell them you love them
and that you miss them whether you just seen them yesterday or mayb its been a month
let them know you appreciate everything about them
all the times you couldnt carry yourself any further
you jus collapsed right there
n right there on the bathroom floor is where she sat too
right beside you
because she knew you needed her there
n no matter how many times you said "im fine" she could see right through it
all the times you didnt say one single word
didnt shed one single tear
but she knew you needed a hug from the look in your eye n the way you were acting
all the times everything going on was out of her reach
we both knew she wouldnt be able to fix anything
but she stayed right there until i was ok to get up and go again
all the times that kid had me going crazy
had my mind spinning
not sure which way to turn
or what to do
she would sit with me
let me cry
let me scream
let me get some of it out of my system
n then stay up with me to scheme up some kind of plan
although she still believes she would make a better boyfriend than him any day
all the times there wasnt a thing wrong with either one of us
but we slept in and just layed around in our pajamas all day because we wanted to
all the times we laughed until we cried
all the stupid questions that we needed answered right then and there
all the food that was eaten even though most of the time we werent even hurgry
all the back n forth with us trying to problem-solve everything in our paths
and all the times we knew we should give up but we just kept on pushing
we knew we could do it
n we were right
no matter how long it did take
but im sure i could go on all day talking about all the good times that made us laugh
all the bad times that me us stronger
all the times that made us closer
weve experienced quite alot together
n ive never had to worry about you lying to me or sneaking around behind my back
weve stayed honest with each other
n weve both grown up so much
but like i said, good friends are hard to come across and tomorrows never promised
so i just want to take this time to pull you aside
i want to tell you i lobe you and i always will
i will always be here for you no matter what
i want you to remember this always you can call upon me at anytime n i will do anything n everything i can do for you
but i want you to know i appreciate everything youve done
and i love you move than you know
