Tragedy

Sunlight sleeps softly on Mists’ pirouette,
as Humid’s fragrance hums a lullaby
within Woodland’s heart of gentle watch.

Rays of gold float through fissured green,
softly tempting Humid’s touch, as Sunlight
sleeps on Mist’s bed of cushioned twirl.

Woodland’s spirit forewarns of tragedy:
when Sunlight wakes from slumber’s pause,
Mist’s retreat will follow in Humid’s rouse.

Flirtingly she gathers her locks of gold,
and from Woodland's enclosure she floats -
drops of Mist now suspends in Humid’s ebb.

    Congratulations ...

on this Gold, too. It is such a mythical poem. I can see this illustrated.

    Love to you,
    Myra

Your right - there is more of a smile - actually I got this electric shock running through by veins when I read this. Had to go back and make sure that I am reading it all correctly. This is my 1st gold and it will always be special to me. Frans.
