Clouds forming overhead
The wind blowing through my hair
Leaves falling from the sky
And crunching beneath my feet
Out in the world of colors where I’m found
Among the leaves I’m always autumn bound
I love to lie in fields
Of red and orange and yellow
I love to climb the dormant trees
And listen as their heartbeat slows
With swirling bits and pieces all around
Just like the wind, I’m always autumn bound
We hide in piles of leaves
Just to have somewhere to hide
But sometimes we are not alone
‘Cause that’s what friends are for
And though such thoughts of fall lead us astray
And fills our hearts and souls with silent sound
The storms of winter will not come today
For all of us are always autumn bound

autumn is such a great time of the year. I only really like it because its right before winter, lol. But such a lovely way to describe autumn. writing about being "Autumn Bound" shows me that you must really love this time of year. I love the colors. its just so magnificent.
Lovely poem.
