As dewdrops glisten in morning's light
I watch your sensual sleeping form
stretched out in unwitting abandon
in contours of vulnerable peace.
And then you stir, begin to stretch
this rosebud lazily emerges
in drowsiness your eyes meet mine
in silence both transfixed.
As your petals unfold I am mesmerised
such fragility unparalleled
each movement oh so silky
as I caress your velvet skin.
As sunlight streams through windows
your face lights up with flawless grace
and I know with perfect certainty
you are my rose without a thorn.
The rose outside the window
has opened to sun's rays
yet there are none that can compare
to the one I embrace in blissfulness.

A rose with out a thorn stuck out. It would be nice that they didn't have thorns, but they do and the thorn is so sharp.

Wow, such beauty without a downside.
"you are my rose without a thorn."
To have that would be the greatest thing, to have something so great and not have anything go wrong, or have it hurt you. Though those perfections have been written here, I see then never happening with this world of ours. I just loved how you described it. Beautiful.
