Every weekend,
they cool off for a short movie
gulping heavy lunch
on a huge matinee couch
and spend some idle moments
playing pool.
rolling jokes over a bowling game,
either smacking each other with popcorn tubs,
or shopping at every mall lavishly
for scoops of latest fashion buzz
else lying lazy at local clubs
speedy cars on go-karting tracks
laugh and giggle
sporting up group pranks,
a bike race along the shores stirrs an excitement
between the couples
smooching cotton candies facing sea
while a rich chocolate ice-cream
softens their sore throats
as the day sinks its energy
