No Worries for an Instance

There is always that initial moment
that comes with life altering news
the moment where reality
is entirely subdued

For that flashing instance
nothing matters in the world
time appears to halt and
your life seems to stand still

Reality returns with emotions bursting
tears streaming down in response
leaving you to wish that the moment
was extended for eternity

Author notes

I don't about this......Maybe I don't like the ending.....I don't know.....Is it just me....Luv ya...Dezi-ray

    10/10

I know exactly what you mean about this. When I found out my grandma had died I just couldn't believe it , but when I slipped out of denial I started to realize I wasn't going to see her again and I completely lost it. I wished I was still in denial so that I wouldn't have had to deal with it . I'm still dealing with it all.
