Two Steps

  God those who end their words in anger,
jealously, or just hate against me
Forgive them as they cannot see I'm always
two steps beyond them.

   God forgive those trying minds to think

they will hurt me.

    For it's my heart that knows the truth

I know you carry me two steps beyond

                     them.
